Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the continued development of its Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and NY medical license or eligibility.
• Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced MIGS including laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
• Expand multidisciplinary care pathways for patients with complex pelvic disease.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach medical students and residents, including operative education in MIGS.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program.
