Job summary

Proteus, Inc. in Porterville, CA, is seeking a dedicated Workforce Investment Activities Coordinator to enhance access to enrollment, education, and career services for migrant and seasonal farmworker youth.

You will partner with NFJP and local schools to recruit participants and connect them to training and work experiences. This role requires strong outreach, collaboration with community partners, and the ability to host workshops, promote services online, and arrange job placements, with some

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or two years related experience.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Access to transportation; California driver’s license and required insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct program presentations to community partners to recruit and enroll eligible youth in NFJP.
• Assist youth not eligible for NFJP services and connect them to other WIOA Youth Services.
• Connect eligible participants to co-enrollment services including education, leadership, internships, and training.
• Promote youth services via social media, branding, and website content with the Marketing team.
• Coordinate with schools and community partners to identify and enroll eligible farmworker youth.
