Proteus, Inc. seeks a proactive outreach and youth-services professional to support in-school youth programs. You will conduct assessments, help with vocational exploration, develop Individual Service Plans, and assist with job searches and follow-up services.

This role requires strong counseling and bilingual communication skills to assist diverse participants. You will travel up to 50% of the time to partner sites and manage administrative tasks related to program delivery, under supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of directly related experience and/or training, or a combination.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required for effective outreach and counseling.
• Access to California driver’s license and vehicle insurance as required.
• Travel up to 50% of the weekly schedule.

Responsabilités

• Initiates and maintains contact with youth, staff, employers, and community agencies.
• Provides supportive services to at-risk youth and makes referrals.
• Conducts initial assessment interviews and interprets testing results.
• Places youth in subsidized and unsubsidized employment and provides job search assistance.
• Prepares Individual Service Plans and provides counseling and case management.
