Job summary

IU5 is seeking a part-time Migrant Education Recruiter-Student Support Specialist-Parent Involvement Specialist based out of the Edinboro Office. This grant-funded role involves travel to assist students in Erie, Crawford, Warren, McKean, Venango and Forest Counties, with a pay rate of $24.44 per hour and a maximum of 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license in the individual's state of residence.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related area is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit eligible migrant children and out-of-school youth.
• Enroll eligible students in accordance with recruitment plans.
• Advocate for students and provide instructional support through schools and service agencies.
• Coordinate with parents to involve them in student education and support services.
• Maintain documentation and records accurately.
• Occasionally travel to serve Erie, Crawford, Warren, McKean, Venango and Forest Counties.
