Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AWS certification preferred.
• 3–5 years welding and fabrication experience in heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and reading blueprints; ability to interpret weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/GMAW welding and fabrication of structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to accurately cut, fit, assemble, and fabricate metal components.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts using visual and non-destructive inspection methods to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot welding and fabrication defects, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following Lean manufacturing practices, 5S standards, and production procedures.
