Job summary

Air Distribution Limited seeks an experienced welder to join our production team. You will operate manual and automated welding equipment, reading blueprints and specifications to join edges and achieve precise fusion depths.

The role requires maintaining arc length, tack welding, and repairing faulty welds while keeping the work area clean and safe. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months MIG welding experience or completed a MIG welding program, with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience or completion of MIG welding program.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, drawings and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment.
• Maintain arc length and travel speed to achieve specified fusion depth.
• Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes.
• Position, clamp, and tack assemblies; ensure fixtures are secure.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety practices.
