Job summary

Focus in Lakeville, MN is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team, building high-quality components from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

You’ll read blueprints, weld to specifications, inspect welds for quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area. 1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with built-in days off and consistent hours. Competitive pay and strong benefits including PTO, holidays, health and 401(k).

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Safe operation of welding equipment and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
• Follow welding procedures and adjust equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production and quality
