Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Lakeville, MN is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum from blueprints, ensuring quality and safety in a steady, hands-on environment.

This on-site position offers a 2nd shift with a 10% differential, competitive benefits, and generous PTO. You will read weld symbols, operate MIG equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

MIG Welder – Build Something Solid with Us

Shifts

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM with a 10% shift differential!

What You’ll Do

• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with specifications
• Follow established welding procedures and adjust equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production and quality

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Safe and effective operation of welding equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certification from a recognized technical program or accrediting body
• Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel
