Job summary

ES MFG in Dexter, MI is hiring experienced MIG Welders for a full-time manufacturing role. The position requires hands-on MIG welding, the ability to read blueprints, and a desire for steady, consistent hours across shifts.

Shifts include 1st shift from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM. You will layout, fit, and weld parts, inspect quality, and maintain welding equipment while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• MIG/wire-feed welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Ability to understand work orders and routings

Responsibilities

• Layout, position, align, and fit components into welding fixtures.
• Set up gas shielding and perform MIG/wire-feed welding to specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, clamps, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Inspect work to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Complete additional production duties as needed.
