Staff Perm in Reno, NV is seeking a MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG welding on galvanized steel and aluminum, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with engineers and fabricators to maintain quality and workflow.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Capable of handling 75 lb parts and working on 10–20 gauge galvanized steel.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with high attention to detail and efficiency.
• Communicate with shop manager and engineering on product issues and assist with streamlining methods for production.
• MIG weld 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel for adapters, curbs, and other products.
• Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.
• Under direct supervision, spot weld metal components together.
