Staff Perm in Reno, NV is seeking a Metal Fabricator and MIG Welder to join our team. You will fabricate custom products from blueprints and perform MIG welding on galvanized steel and aluminum, coordinating with engineering to keep quality and workflow efficient.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating welding equipment safely, and a readiness to work as part of a collaborative shop team. This is a temporary-to-hire position based in Reno.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings with some instruction.
• Capable of welding 10–20 gauge galvanized steel.
• Physically able to load fabrication parts onto the weld table.
• Safety conscious in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with attention to detail.
• MIG weld galvanized steel for adapters, curbs, and other parts.
• Inspect welded components to ensure quality and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and shop team to streamline production.
• Spot weld components under direct supervision.
