Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must pass MIG welder evaluation test within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding to join similar or dissimilar metals per specifications.
• Review and verify correct blueprint or work instruction for each job; identify components and weld accordingly.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and record results on job card; perform hourly quality checks.
• Accurately complete and update hourly count boards to track production progress.
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment; adjust voltage and wire feed as required.
• Maintain 5S standards and follow EHS policies and procedures.
