Job summary

Labor Finders is seeking skilled Welders to join our team in Georgia. You will weld components using MIG, TIG, and arc methods, read blueprints and work orders, and inspect final welds for quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, selecting proper consumables per WPS, and maintaining welding machines and PPE. This is a full-time, on-site role with possible overtime; Labor Finders is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Welders must be able to read blueprints and tolerances.
• Experience with multiple welding processes.
• Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Set up and operate MIG, TIG, stick (SMAW), and flux‑core welding equipment.
• Select torches, tips, filler metals, shielding gases, and parameters based on WPS and material type.
• Cut, braze, or solder metal parts when required.

Job description

We are looking to fill positions for Welders. Someone who is skilled in joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure precise measurements and high-quality welds. Experienced in operating welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools while adhering to strict safety protocols. Adept at inspecting finished products for structural integrity and compliance with specifications.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Set up and operate MIG, TIG, stick (SMAW), and flux‑core welding equipment.
• Select torches, tips, filler metals, shielding gases, and parameters based on WPS and material type.
• Cut, braze, or solder metal parts when required.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Detect faulty equipment operation and notify supervisors.
• Record production or operational data when required.
• Inspect and maintain welding machines, torches, consumables, and gas systems.

Work Environment

Welders may work:

• Indoors or outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces.
• In noisy, hot, or hazardous environments requiring daily PPE.
• Full‑time, often with overtime or multiple shifts.
