M J & H Fabrication is seeking skilled MIG, Flux-Core, and TIG Welders to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing high-quality welds while maintaining productivity, safety, and attention to detail. Candidates should be able to interpret fabrication drawings, operate welding equipment safely, and perform work that meets company and customer quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, Flux-Core, and/or TIG welding on a variety of materials and projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Fit, tack, and weld components to required specifications.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
• Operate grinders, cutting tools, and other fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with shop projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of MIG, Flux-Core, and/or TIG welding processes.
• Ability to pass a weld test if required.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions.
• Ability to work in shop and field environments as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pipe welding experience.
• AWS certifications.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment such as ironworkers, saws, plasma cutting systems, and overhead cranes.
