Labor Finders in Georgia is seeking skilled Welders to join our fabrication team. You will weld metal components using MIG, TIG, and arc welding, and read blueprints and work orders to ensure precise welds.

This full-time role requires operating welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools while adhering to strict safety protocols, inspecting finished work for structural integrity and compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Skilled in MIG, TIG, and arc welding to join, fabricate, and repair metal components.
• Proficient reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders for accurate welds.
• Operate welding gear, grinders, and cutting tools while following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Inspect finished welds for structural integrity and conformance to specs.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Set up and operate MIG, TIG, stick (SMAW), and flux-core welding equipment.
• Select torches, tips, filler metals, shielding gases based on WPS and material type.
• Cut, braze, or solder metal parts as required.

Job description

We are looking to fill positions for Welders. Someone who is skilled in joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure precise measurements and high-quality welds. Experienced in operating welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools while adhering to strict safety protocols. Adept at inspecting finished products for structural integrity and compliance with specifications.

• Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Set up and operate MIG, TIG, stick (SMAW), and flux‑core welding equipment.
• Select torches, tips, filler metals, shielding gases, and parameters based on WPS and material type.
• Cut, braze, or solder metal parts when required.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Detect faulty equipment operation and notify supervisors.
• Record production or operational data when required.
• Inspect and maintain welding machines, torches, consumables, and gas systems.

Work Environment

Welders may work:

• Indoors or outdoors, sometimes in confined spaces.
• In noisy, hot, or hazardous environments requiring daily PPE.
• Full‑time, often with overtime or multiple shifts.
