Job summary

Hennig is seeking a Welder II – Base Welder in Machesney Park, IL. You will independently perform base-welding operations, interpret base-weld prints, position components, and produce high-quality welds while inspecting finished work to ensure fabrication requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform base-welding operations per prints and specs.
• Interpret base-weld prints and position components for welding.
• Produce quality welds and inspect completed work for conformity.
• Perform weld repairs as needed and use welding equipment throughout fabrication process.
• Safely operate crane and forklift as required and maintain 5S practices.
