Job summary

Hennig Inc. seeks an experienced Welder II – Base Welder to independently perform base-welding operations, interpret prints, and position components to meet print, dimensional, quality, and production requirements.

You will inspect welds, perform repairs, and operate welding and handling equipment throughout the base fabrication process. The role requires 3-5 years MIG welding experience and at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment, plus a high school diploma/GED and a D1.1 flat

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• D1.1 Flat certification within 30 days of starting position.
• 3-5 years experience as a MIG welder and 1 year in a manufacturing environment required.
• Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform base-welding operations meeting print, dimensional, quality and production requirements.
• Interpret base-weld prints and position components accordingly.
• Produce quality welds and inspect completed work; perform weld repairs as needed.
• Use welding and material-handling equipment required throughout the base fabrication process.
• Independently verify completed work against fabrication prints and specs.
