Job summary

Radius HDD in Weatherford, TX is seeking a Welder I for first shift (7:00 AM-4:00 PM, Monday-Friday). The role involves hand welding components used to build equipment, reading blueprints, and performing mechanical assembly with hand and air tools.

You will set up fixtures, operate MIG welding equipment, lift components with a hoist, inspect welds for quality, and record inventory data. A high school diploma is preferred, and you must pass an entry‑level plate test for production welding;

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• MIG welding experience or completed welding training.
• Pass entry-level plate test for production welding.
• Ability to use hand and air-powered tools.
• Strong reading, clerical, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Read information from blueprints, technical manuals or other documents.
• Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools.
• Use a hoist to lift and position large components and weldments.
• Set up, adjust, and operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components.
• Remove components from fixtures, inspect quality, and correct welds.
