Job summary

Life Fitness is hiring MIG Welders for a fast-paced, high-volume production environment in Anoka, MN. This contract-to-hire role focuses on pulse MIG welding of mild steel, using weld fixtures and symbols to deliver cosmetic-quality welds.

1st shift 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, 2nd shift 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, with possible overtime on Fridays/Saturdays. Responsibilities include loading parts, welding to specifications, maintaining clean welds, and meeting daily goals in a hot, physical setting.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with MIG, TIG, or Pulse welding.
• Ability to read and understand weld symbols.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production welding environment.
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hot, physical manufacturing environment.
• Strong reliability and ability to learn/memorize weld sequences.
• Must pass required BG check, drug test, and welding tests.
• Quarterly and annual raise opportunities upon direct hire.
