Job summary

Qualifications

• Two to three years' welding experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with 5S and lean manufacturing is an asset.
• Able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Thorough knowledge of welding procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines and work with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to CWB procedures.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and process sheets.
• Interpret weld symbols.
• Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
