Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Welder in Brookshire, TX to join our manufacturing client. The role focuses on fabrication and repair of metal structures using MIG and GMAW, with a 12-hour shift 5:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years MIG/RSW experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong English communication. Vocational training preferred; competitive pay based on experience; opportunities for growth in a dynamic plant.

Qualifications

1-3 years of Resistance Spot Welding (RSW) and MIG welding experience.
Experience operating in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Technical or vocational training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Read, interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to accurately create equipment and products.
Design and build basic and complex structures, supports, or frameworks in daily tasks.
Weld using GMAW / MIG and RSW processes to meet project specifications.
Utilize handheld tools such as screw guns, drill guns, grinders, calipers, and weld gauges.
Maintain inventory of welding consumables, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
