Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on multiple metal materials per specs.
• Use calipers, micrometers and shop math for precise fit-up.
• Operate hand and power tools, plasma cutters and machining equipment.
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites or shop environments.
• Fabricate components through cutting, assembly and welding while ensuring quality.
• Interpret drawings and apply mechanical knowledge to assemble complex structures.
