Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Blandon, PA is seeking a Welder to fabricate and weld metal components per engineering specs, supporting production with high-quality MIG welds on structural assemblies. You will read CAD drawings, cut and weld steel, operate forklifts and drills, and contribute to documentation while working 1st shift, Monday–Friday 7am–3:30pm.

This role is based at the Blandon site with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Basic math and tape measurement skills.
• Ability to pass a welding skills test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Fabrication and welding of steel angle, tube and plates to specification as well as plasma and flame cutting.
• Operating other equipment such as forklifts, saws and drills
• Welding piping, structural steel and other weldments
• Related material handling and completion of documentation.
