Job summary

UNARCO in Ohio is seeking a skilled welder to join our in-house team. The role covers welding, brazing and cutting with gas and electric equipment, following safety and quality guidelines. Shifts run 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with up to 2 Saturdays per month; pay starts at $23.44 per hour and includes standard benefits.

You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, set up equipment, and maintain a clean work area while meeting production standards.

Qualifications

  • Must pass company entry level welding and tape tests.
  • Able to understand verbal and written orders.
  • Must be able to weld a visually acceptable bead.
  • Must be able to read all blueprints.
  • Must be able to complete inventory tickets.
  • Able to set up welding machines.

Responsibilities

  • Welds, brazes and cuts parts using gas and electric welding equipment.
  • Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded; sets up, assembles and welds parts.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Follows safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Works scheduled shifts and overtime & weekends as required.

Maintains a clean work area, free of wood, banding material, and other debris and dunnage.
