Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months MIG alloy and steel welding experience.
• Have passed 2G plate welding test and 6G pipe test within Johnson Controls - San Antonio.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Follow safety policies and maintain quality orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork.
• Ability to work with supervisors to drive continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fit up, fabrication and core welding to vendors and managers.
• Perform tasks to enhance safety, health, productivity, and compliance in manufacturing.
• Operate welding equipment and inspect workmanship.
• Read blueprints and ensure drawings meet intended environment.
• Maintain detailed reports and documentation; prepare inputs for management reports.
• Participate in Kaizen events and practice 5S.
