Job summary

E-ONE, a Terex Corporation company that manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks, is seeking a skilled welder to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on GMAW/MIG welding, reading blueprints, laying out parts, and fabricating assemblies for fire-truck components.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read a tape measure and engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and engineering drawings and perform shop math to layout, fabricate and weld parts.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all GMAW (MIG) welding procedures including machine settings and fittings.
• Welding aluminum and setting up/maintaining welding equipment.
• Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter.
• Grind and clean areas as needed.
• Follow TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on equipment.
• Follow hazardous waste disposal and fire prevention procedures.
