Responsibilities

• Metal Rack Repair and Modifications
• Welding accounts for approximately 50% of the work
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations along with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Assess condition of racks returned from customer
• Provides information for repair/modification quote
• Reads blueprints and weld assemblies to assure compliance to customer standards
• Enters accurate quantities, material used and time into data collection system
• Sets up equipment and welds parts by hand on automatic MIG welding equipment
• Bolts, clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
• Conduct final inspections of welds and parts, making spot repairs to ensure stability
• Operates forklift to safely move materials
• Requires some travel to customer sites to complete tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
