Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in the Anderson area seeks an experienced MIG Welder to repair and modify industrial racks, reading blueprints and welding to specification. The position centers on MIG welding, with a four-day work week and a stable, hands-on manufacturing environment.

The role offers a second shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with pay of $17.00–$19.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Repair and modify industrial metal racks.
• Perform MIG welding (about 50% of the job).
• Read blueprints and weld to customer specifications.
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld components before final weld.
• Inspect welds and perform repairs to ensure quality.
• Evaluate returned racks and assist with repair estimates.
• Enter production data and material usage into the data collection system.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites for repairs.
