Job summary

Pro Resources Inc. is seeking an experienced MIG welder for a specialized metal fabrication shop in Ohio. The role emphasizes reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and welding components to exacting standards for automotive and industrial clients.

The candidate will work a mostly evening shift, with overtime potential on Fridays and occasional Saturdays. A strong eye for quality and ability to work both independently and in a team will be essential for meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MIG welder (required weld test with customer).
• Must provide own weld helmet.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG welding.
• Knowledge of welding equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with industrial racking systems (preferred).

Job description

Hours: 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM Monday - Thursday

*Friday will be overtime and most likely working on Saturday as well*

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to pick up and load parts into a weld fixture ranging in size from a few inches, up to 8 feet in length, and help team lift parts greater than 8 feet.
• Must be able to pick up and lift completed parts ranging in weight from less than 1 pound, up to 50 pounds, and help team lift parts that are greater than 50 pounds.
• Must be able to endure standing for periods of time up to 3 hours at a time during a 10-hour work schedule
• Must be able to OCCASIONALLY crouch, kneel, lean over, and step up on a ladder, depending upon the job.
• Must be able to grasp a welding torch with their dominant hand, and steady it with their non-dominant hand.
