Aerotek is seeking a skilled Structural MIG Welder for 1st shift in Ocala, FL. You will weld structural steel components according to blueprints and work orders in an open shop environment, focusing on safety and quality to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up welding equipment, measuring, inspecting welds, and maintaining a clean work area. Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience welding structural steel preferred.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and levels.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding structural steel components according to blueprints, work orders, and quality standards. This position is performed in an open shop environment and requires the ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently while maintaining production goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable working in an open shop manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
