Job summary

Frymaster, a Welbilt brand, is seeking a Welder II in Shreveport, LA. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on various parts, following drawings and welding procedures to ensure strong, neat seams. Three to five years of welding experience and the ability to read blueprints are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years welding experience required.
• Interpret drawings; position, fit, block, clamp parts for alignment.
• Select welding equipment and material; regulate current, voltage, and pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of MIG and TIG welding operations on parts and components.
• Weld seams with strength and neat appearance on certified work.
• Check welds for adherence to specifications and rework as necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Report faulty equipment or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Work overtime as required.
