Job summary

MODULE X SOLUTIONS is seeking a skilled welder/fitter to join our Shreveport, LA fabrication team. You will interpret engineering drawings, set up welds, adhere to blueprints, and use hand and power tools to assemble and finish metal components.

Role involves welding in multiple positions, preparing surfaces, and deburring. Initial training on day shift with later transition to 2nd shift; a $2.00/hour differential applies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding/fitting experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Attention to detail and strong math skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering drawings and specs to plan welding operations.
• Develop templates and models for welding projects.
• Position and secure parts prior to assembly using measuring tools.
• Prepare surfaces for welding and ensure cleanliness.
• Operate welding equipment and join components in various positions.
• Grind and deburr welds; clean parts after welding.
