Job summary

Velocity Sheet Metal in Selma, TX, is seeking skilled MIG and TIG welders to join our climate-controlled shop. You will weld carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum, fabricating sheet metal and ductwork from shop drawings and symbols.

We value precision and safety. A weld test is required at hire, and you should bring basic hand tools and PPE to ensure quality and efficiency on steady year-round work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years MIG and/or TIG welding experience (production or fab shop).
• Comfortable welding thin-gauge sheet metal and structural pieces.
• Able to read prints and weld symbols.
• Own basic hand tools and PPE.
• Weld test required at hire.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum.
• Weld sheet metal, ductwork, and custom fabrication assemblies.
• Work from shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Grind, finish, and prep welds to spec.
• Maintain quality and safety standards.
