Job summary

CJI Piping and Fabrication in Selma, TX is seeking an experienced Welder – Full Time to join a fast-paced shop that builds carbon steel pipe fab, structural fab, and related installations. You will perform stick welding and possibly TIG on carbon steel and stainless, read blueprints, and fabricate and repair metal structures.

Applicants should have 2+ years welding experience (or trade school equivalent), be able to pass a weld test, and demonstrate strong attention to safety and physical

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience (or trade school equivalent).
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick and potentially TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and safety.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work area.
