Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a Midwest Safety Coordinator to promote and maintain a safe work environment across our Midwest operations. You will develop, implement, and oversee safety programs, policies, and training to ensure OSHA, DOT, and company standards are met.

Collaboration with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, HR, and Leadership is essential. The role requires leading investigations, reporting safety metrics, and providing coaching to employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of safety experience in transportation, distribution, warehouse, manufacturing, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety across Transportation and Warehouse Operations.
• Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and report safety metrics.
• Provide safety training and coaching to employees at all levels.
