Job summary

MCM Technology is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest United States to grow pipeline and revenue in the public safety market. This full-time role involves up to 40% travel and reports to the VP of Sales.

You will manage the entire sales cycle, build a robust territory plan, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver customer value. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in tech sales to public safety, a proven quota track record, and strong communication and forecasting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology sales experience selling to public safety agencies or law enforcement.
• Proven quota attainment with successful closing of complex deals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer meetings and events.
• Experience in account/territory planning and accurate forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory plan to win new business and expand within current accounts.
• Document opportunities and activities in Salesforce for accurate forecasting.
• Identify key prospects, understand buying influences and decision processes.
• Grow pipeline and close deals within the prescribed period; quota attainment.
• Coordinate with Business Development Representatives and Solution Engineers.
• Stay current with industry knowledge by attending conferences and training.
• Demonstrate software value and conduct introductory demonstrations at events.
