InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is seeking an Area Director to lead and oversee a ministry team planting and growing witnessing communities on college campuses. You will guide staff, students, and faculty, develop ministry plans, and manage operations to advance gospel-centered work across multiple campuses.

The role requires spiritual maturity, strong leadership, and the ability to build diverse teams while coordinating with regional and national partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years campus ministry or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong ministry and leadership skills with ability to develop a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Model spiritual maturity as a disciple of Jesus Christ reflecting love for God and people of all cultures.
• Pursue a vibrant relationship with God through Scripture, prayer and worship both individually and in community.
• Exercise self-leadership and relational integrity.
• Lead staff, students and faculty through Scripture, prayer and discipleship experiences.
• Recruit ministers and develop ministers to grow in Christ and their ministry gifts.
