Job summary

Validus Energy is seeking a qualified Pipeline Operator at our Tuttle, OK Cryo Plant to ensure safe, reliable operation of crude oil, natural gas, or refined products pipelines and related facilities. You will monitor SCADA systems, perform inspections, and respond to operational issues, all while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Reports to Pipeline Manager and interacts with control room operators and contractors.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience: Operator Qualification (OQ) for DOT.
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years Pipeline Operator experience.
Anadarko Basin experience.
Knowledge and experience with OnPing automation platform.
Knowledge and experience with PHMSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Monitor pipeline operations using SCADA systems and field instrumentation.
Operate and maintain pumps, valves, compressors, and other midstream equipment.
Perform daily inspections of pipeline routes, facilities, and equipment.
Execute startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures in accordance with company policies.
Respond to alarms, leaks, or abnormalities and coordinate with emergency response teams.
Maintain accurate records of flow volumes, pressures, maintenance activities, and inspections.
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance tasks and assist with repairs.
Ensure adherence to DOT, PHMSA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
