Job summary

Harvest Midstream Company is seeking a senior process/chemical engineer to provide engineering support for Midstream Operations and Commercial teams. You will analyze operational problems, perform hydraulic simulations, and assess growth opportunities and acquisitions with a data-driven approach.

This role requires strong experience in process simulation, hydraulic modeling, and PHAs, with collaboration across field personnel, control rooms, and project managers. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• PSM knowledge and ability to perform PHAs for process facilities.
• Experience with process simulation (Promax or equivalent) and hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Regularly interacts with control room, field operations leadership and field personnel to analyze operational problems, develop alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.
• Seeks and identifies opportunities to optimize systems, reduce costs and improve operational performance.
• Provides initial design engineering, scope development, schedule and cost estimates for maintenance and capital projects.
• Coordinates and manages third party engineering designs for projects.
• Coordinates with project engineers and construction crews to ensure scope of work is executed.
• Leads or supports PHAs for processing facilities and addresses identified issues.
• Performs hydraulic simulations of pressures and flow rates through pipelines.
• Supports the commercial team in new growth project development and due diligence on acquisitions.
