Job summary

You’ll work under supervision with lab technologists and supervisors, manage specimen data in LIS, and sometimes perform phlebotomy. Precision and adherence to quality standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science.
• MLT certification from ASCP or NCA desired or completion of a military 50-60 week technician program and meets CLIA requirements.
• Successful completion of an Associates or Bachelor's degree with 5 college courses in relevant sciences.
• Course work done outside the US must be verified by a NACES-approved service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of lab procedures on blood and other body fluid specimens using manual techniques and instruments.
• Work collaboratively under supervision to execute defined protocols with precision and care.
• Navigate laboratory information systems to manage and track specimen data.
• Take on phlebotomy duties as needed.
• Contribute to accurate, reliable test results that impact patient care.
• Maintain highest standards of laboratory excellence.
