Responsibilities

• Performs select chemical, hematologic, microbiologic, and other specimen procedures per protocols.
• Operates instruments and information systems; recognizes implausible results and reports them.
• Standardizes, calibrates, maintains quality control, and performs limited troubleshooting.
• Follows policies on safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in quality assurance and proficiency testing activities.

Education

Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

MLT certification (ASCP or NCA)
