Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in California seeks an Assistant Behavior Analyst or Midlevel Supervisor to provide clinical support and supervision to Behavior Technicians under a BCBA. The role develops goals, supervises staff, and conducts face-to-face case oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Develop goals, programs, and behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Oversee Behavior Technicians and supervise caseloads.
  • Conduct face-to-face supervision and assessments.
  • Train staff and families on behavior change plans and skill acquisition goals.
  • Update behavior change plans with progress and outcomes.
  • Monitor progress and effectiveness of behavioral programs.

  • Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Oversees the work of Behavior Technicians as assigned by Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) or Operations Leader
  • Conducts face-to-face case and Behavior Technician supervision for assigned caseload
  • Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments
  • Trains Behavior Technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals
  • Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals
  • Assists Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) in updating behavior change plans including current progress on behavior goals and skill acquisition goals
  • Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)
  • May conduct skill enhancement training for Behavior Technicians
  • Provides behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined in the behavioral change plan
  • Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Must have a completed master's degree in social work, human services, drug and alcohol, education, counseling, psychology, or criminal justice. MA in ABA is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or other related disorders
  • At least one year of experience in providing behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings
  • Enrolled in approved BACB courses and preparing for BCBA exam
  • Ability to effectively communicate with appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to coworkers, supervisors, clients)
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • At least 18 years of age
