Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Geologist based in Midland, TX. The role focuses on field tasks supporting multiple teams with safety as a priority. You will perform groundwater sampling and assist with remediation systems at Texas facilities, balancing field and office duties.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, HAZWOPER, TWIC or ability to obtain, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 75% and strong communication are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years equivalent experience in environmental field work.
• Experience with groundwater sampling and remediation technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 75% and work in Texas oil & gas facilities.
• Physically able to perform fieldwork and wear a respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tasks in oil & gas facilities across Texas (90% field, 10% office).
• Collect groundwater samples and other media; document activities on site.
• Assist with installation, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems.
• Coordinate logistics, data entry, and health, safety, and environmental compliance.
