Summary: In this role, you will collaborate with Datacenter and Cloud Operations teams to support middleware platforms and applications across on-premises and cloud environments. You will also assist with automation and monitoring to enhance middleware performance and reliability. Attention to detail, task orientation, and accountability are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Support Java and .NET web applications hosted on IIS, Apache HTTPD, and Apache Tomcat.
2. Configure, deploy, and maintain middleware components in containerized environments using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
3. Monitor web application performance and availability; perform root cause analysis.
4. Collaborate with developers on application deployment pipelines in traditional and containerized infrastructures.
5. Configure and tune web and application servers for optimal performance.
6. Troubleshoot connectivity issues, load balancer configurations, and startup failures.
7. Build and maintain Docker images and deployment manifests for Kubernetes or VMware Tanzu environments.
8. Implement automation scripts for routine tasks such as container restarts, log rotation, and health checks.
9. Participate in patching and upgrading cycles, ensuring minimal disruption.
10. Document configurations, deployment procedures, and support playbooks.

Qualifications:

1. Relevant degree preferred.
2. At least 2 years of relevant software development experience.
3. Support experience with Java, .NET, IIS, Apache HTTPD/Tomcat.
4. Support experience with Docker, VMware Tanzu, Podman, Kubernetes.
5. Support experience in Java JRE, Apache Tomcat, MS BizTalk, Python environments.
6. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Estimated Salary Range: $102,400 - $179,000, with incentive eligibility. See our benefits page.
