Job summary

Innova Solutions in Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC is hiring a Middleware Administrator on a 12+ month contract/fte hybrid role. You will administer, configure, patch, and support middleware platforms, driving production stability and automated deployments.

This position requires expertise in WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat/Apache, Java/J2EE, and DevOps tools like Ansible and XLR, with strong troubleshooting and collaboration across SDLC teams.

Qualifications

• Experience administering middleware platforms (WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, IBM HTTP Server).
• Experience with production stability and high availability of enterprise apps.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, XLR, Bitbucket).
• Designing middleware topology, failover, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshooting Java/J2EE and middleware issues.
• Collaborating with SDLC teams across application, testing, and infrastructure.
• Executing production releases and regulatory change implementations.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, and Perl.

Responsibilities

As a Middleware Administrator you will:

• Administer, configure, patch, and support middleware platforms including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, and IBM HTTP Server.

• BPM: Appian
• Operating Systems: Linux
• Java/J2EE & Container Frameworks
• Scripting: Shell, Jython, Perl
• Networking: HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Proxies
• DevOps & Automation: Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform, XLR, BitBucket
• Release & Deployment Management
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Additional Information

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range* $70.00 - $73.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
