Job summary

Orting School District is seeking a Head Wrestling Coach for Orting Middle School. The role oversees the entire middle school wrestling program, including practices, competitions, and student leadership, with reporting to the Director of Athletics & Activities.

Successful candidate will have wrestling coaching experience, knowledge of techniques, and ability to meet WA coaching standards, while communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Coaching/participating in wrestling experience required or preferred.
• Knowledge of wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Must meet Washington State Coaching Standards.
• Ability to communicate well with students, parents, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and run the middle school wrestling program.
• Coordinate practices, matches, and team logistics.
• Supervise athletes, assistants, and staff as needed.
• Report to Director of Athletics & Activities.
