Job summary

Mountainside Middle School in Colbert, Washington is seeking an Anticipated Assistant Wrestling Coach for 6th/7th/8th grade for late fall 2026. Qualifications

• Must be 19 or older for Assistant Coach
• Must have current First Aid/CPR certification or obtain by start of season
• Type II Driver’s License is preferred
• Understand the activity/sport, its safety practices, techniques, rules, and progression of skill development

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes regarding techniques, rules, and safety practices of wrestling
• Develop and organize a structured practice program; conduct practices 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Supervise athletes from practice start to finish and ensure participant safety
• Promote the school’s interscholastic athletics program and align with district policies
• Communicate with parents regarding team rules and guidelines; maintain student-athlete handbook compliance
