Job summary

Orting High School in the Orting School District is seeking applicants for the position of Girls Assistant Wrestling Coach (Non-Continuing). The role supports the high school athletic program during the winter season, with duties overseen by the Director of Athletics & Activities.

Applicants must be 19+, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold or be able to obtain current first aid and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred in coaching/participating in wrestling.
• Knowledge of wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Meet all WIAA requirements for the Washington State Coaching Standards.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively with students, parents, staff and community members.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills necessary to support running a solid high school program.
• Successful experience working with teenage athletes.
• Ability to motivate teens to reach their highest potential academically through sportsmanship.
