Job summary

Mountainside Middle School in Mead, WA seeks a Head Wrestling Coach for grades 6-8 for the extracurricular season. Responsibilities include instructing athletes, organizing practices from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., supervising athletes during events, and promoting the school's athletic program.

Qualifications require First Aid/CPR certification and a Type II driver's license; age 21+ for Head Coach. Prior secondary coaching experience is preferred. Salary is set per MECA contract.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 or older for Assistant Coach and 21 or older for Head Coach.
• Must have current First Aid/CPR certification or be able to acquire it by the start of the season.
• Type II Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes regarding techniques, rules, and safety practices.
• Develop and organize a practice program; schedule practices 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Supervise athletes during practices, games, camps, and travel.
• Communicate with parents regarding team rules and athletic department guidelines.
