Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.

• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Ability to model quality instructional techniques and strategies.
• Experience in leading district professional development.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring.
• Knowledge of MTSS, SSP, and TEKS alignment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct weekly planning meetings with grade level teams to guide content focus and interventions.
• Serve as instructional coach by modeling lessons, co‑teaching, and giving timely feedback.
• Ensure TEKS alignment in lessons and district curriculum.
• Observe classroom instruction and provide feedback on strengths and growth areas.
• Mentor new teachers and staff new to campus or district.
• Assist with selecting instructional materials and integrating technology into lessons.
• Prepare data‑driven reports to support teacher planning and differentiation.
• Participate in district Academic Specialist meetings to share strategies.
